Pelvic Floor Relaxation Training

Dealing with pelvic floor muscle tension can be a difficult thing for patients to deal with.  These muscles support bowel and bladder movements, and issues in this area can cause unfortunate complications.  These complications can include:

  • Feeling as if you cannot complete bowel movements.
  • Constipation or extreme pain with bowel movements.
  • Painful urination.
  • Ongoing pain in your pelvic region.
  • A frequent need to urinate.  

When you’re dealing with pelvic floor tension, visiting our staff can help you overcome this issue.  After making a full evaluation of your condition, you’ll be taught to perform a variety of stretches and exercises may include:

  • Supine pelvic floor stretch.
  • Supported spinal twist.
  • Supported groin and pelvic floor stretch.
  • Hip and lower back twist.
  • Pelvic squats.
