Body Mechanics Training

Your body is designed to perform movements in a specific way.  When parts of the body move outside their normal range of motion, this is when injuries occur.  To help prevent this from happening, Lake Country Physical Therapy & Sportscare offers body mechanics training. Our therapists can correct any mechanical issues you’re facing, allowing you to stay injury-free.

Many principles come along with body mechanics training.  The first involves the proper alignment of your body. Another is always having a wide base for proper weight distribution.  Keeping a low center of gravity and a straight back also plays a role in keeping the correct body mechanics. If you’re facing issues with any of these, our staff will have you perform a variety of stretches and exercises to correct them.  The benefits that can come from doing so include:
